Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Geary FFA had a successful weekend at the Blaine County Fair. Eight students competed in the livestock judging contest, where Debra Lewis gave an impressive set of reasons on a crossbred gilt class. Kaden Wright did very well coming off the floor without dropping many points!
Saturday brought a BIG day in the show ring for Twister Ayers, who came home with:
Champion Chester
Reserve Champion Dark Cross Gilt
Champion Light Cross Gilt
Champion Dark Cross Barrow
Grand Champion Purebred Gilt
Reserve Supreme Overall Gilt
Champion Peewee Showman
Debra Lewis also had a great day, earning 3rd Overall Dark Cross Gilt and being named Champion Senior Hog Showman!
We are extremely proud of these two and every student who put in the work this past weekend.
