Americorps Job Opening for Geary Elementary School
Launch the media gallery 1 playerApplications are being accepted for a full-time Americorps position for next school year with Geary Elementary School. Candidates for this position must be 18 years or older, have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to serve 40-42 hours per week from August 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015. The Americorps assignment will involve helping students with school assignments, homework, and other skills.
Salary is $1,000 per month before taxes. As a bonus, Americorps workers receive an education award of $4,972 to be used to further their education or pay for federal student loans. If 55 or older, the education award can be transferred to a child or grandchild.
